My story
I'm a product designer focused on product strategy to design meaningful experiences that not only meet users' needs but also exceed their expectations.
A key principle for my work is drawing inspiration from different disciplines and cross-pollinating them to develop a well-rounded design. These disciplines include various forms of art (pop art specifically), architecture, and psychology. I have a Professional UX Certification as well as a Masters in Architecture from The University of Texas at Austin. My shift into user experience from architecture was fueled by the realization that user experience IS all of the things I wanted architecture to be: empathetic, short project life-cycle, a continuous challenge, and a community of people who desire to change the world. Throughout my design training, I have been known for being ‘the theorist.’ Someone who thinks of all the possible what if’s associated with a design. Those what if’s most often than not, are associated with some type of obstacle, and it is a passion of mine to take those problems and innovatively solve them.
